During the month of November, Hayward third graders led a school wide food drive as part of Citizen’s EDGE.

Recently, they delivered 100 bags of donations to he Nebraska City Food Pantry where they recieved a tour from Keitha Thomson, director. These Super Citizens helped stocked the shelves.

The students had a friendly competition to see which grade could collect the most items. For each donation, a student placed a feather on their grade level’s turkey.
